The AI Assistant is a research copilot built into the terminal. Ask it anything about markets, prices, events, or news, and it answers with live data. Open it with /AI, or press Cmd/Ctrl + / anywhere to open it with the cursor ready. AI Assistant panel with starter prompts and a chat composer

What to ask

The starter cards show the range — and you can type anything:
  • “What’s hot on Kalshi today?” — top events by volume with live prices
  • “Find cross-venue spreads” — the same event on Kalshi and Polymarket, ranked by price gap
  • “Fed next-meeting odds” — implied probabilities from the rate markets
  • “Find Trump-related markets” — search across both venues with live prices
  • “Latest news for a ticker” — headlines and sentiment
  • Or just: “Explain what open interest means”

Working with chats

  • Conversations save automatically — the sidebar keeps your chat history, searchable, with Cmd/Ctrl + N for a new chat.
  • It’s a panel — dock it beside your charts and ask questions about what you’re watching without breaking flow.
  • The composer’s @ tools and / commands give the assistant extra abilities; the mode selector switches assistant behaviors.
The AI Assistant rolls out gradually and may not be enabled on every account yet.
The assistant is a research tool, not financial advice. It reads live market data but can’t see the future — always apply your own judgment before trading.
