My order was rejected — why?
My order was rejected — why?
The usual causes, in order of likelihood:
- Not enough balance on the venue you’re trading — check Balances for that venue specifically (funds are per-venue).
- Kalshi identity check not finished — Kalshi buys need a one-time verification.
- Below the minimum — Polymarket orders must be at least $1.
- Venue paused — occasionally one venue’s trading pauses briefly; the order slip will say so. The other venue is unaffected.
Why can't I place a limit order on Kalshi?
Why can't I place a limit order on Kalshi?
On-chain Kalshi trading uses market orders only, with slippage protection to control your fill price. Polymarket supports both market and limit orders.
I sold a position — where's my money?
I sold a position — where's my money?
Proceeds land in the same venue’s balance and show in your Balances Activity feed immediately. If a market resolved in your favor rather than being sold, use Balances → ⋯ → Redeem to convert winnings into spendable cash.
My market order filled at a worse price than shown

In thin markets, prices move between quote and fill. The order slip’s max slippage setting caps this — tighten it (1¢) for precise fills, or use a limit order on Polymarket for an exact price.

My deposit hasn't arrived
My deposit hasn't arrived
Most deposits land within minutes, but cross-chain conversions can take longer. Check:
- The transaction confirmed on the sending side (your exchange or wallet shows it complete).
- You sent to the address for the right venue — each deposit address is specific to where you chose to land funds.
- The Activity feed in Balances — deposits appear there as they credit.

Funds live per venue — the Balances panel shows the Kalshi/Polymarket split. Cash committed to open positions isn’t spendable either; your portfolio value counts both cash and positions.

Can I move my funds out of Panther?
Yes — always. Use Send in Balances to withdraw USDC to any external address, or export your wallet keys (Balances → ⋯ → Export wallet) to take full custody elsewhere. Your wallets are yours.

I don't see trading options at all
I don't see trading options at all
On-chain trading rolls out progressively — if your account isn’t enabled yet you’ll see a waitlist notice. You can browse everything and use demo mode in the meantime.
I don't see the Demo or API trading account in the switcher
I don't see the Demo or API trading account in the switcher
Demo appears once demo mode is available for your signed-in account. API trading (shown as “Legacy” in the switcher) is desktop-only and appears only after you’ve connected API keys — see Set up API trading.
My identity verification is stuck on pending

Use Check Status in Settings → Trading after finishing the verification flow. If it shows Failed, choose Try Again — typos in documents are the usual cause.

Prices stream live, but a hiccup can leave a panel behind. Close and reopen the panel first; if the whole app seems stale, do a hard refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R on web) or restart the desktop app.

Some panels arrive progressively or need you to be signed in — if a code from these docs isn’t in your palette, it isn’t enabled for your account yet.

Layouts save per tab automatically. If a tab got cleared, rebuild it and it persists — and consider sharing important layouts with the
SHL command so you have a link backup.Still stuck?
