Panther runs as a desktop app for macOS and Windows and as a web app in your browser. The desktop app has the full feature set and is the best experience for active trading; the web app needs nothing to install.

Download

Download the latest macOS version (.dmg) from the downloads page.

Install

Open the downloaded .dmg, drag Panther into your Applications folder, then eject the disk image.

Open it the first time

The first time you launch, macOS may warn that the app is from an unidentified developer. To open it:
  1. Right-click (or Control-click) Panther in Applications.
  2. Choose Open.
  3. Click Open in the dialog.
You only need to do this once. After that, open it normally.

Keeping Panther up to date

The desktop app checks for updates automatically and prompts you when a new version is ready. The web app is always up to date — just refresh.
