Installing on Windows

Download​

Download the latest .exe installer from the releases page.

Installation​

  1. Run the downloaded installer
  2. Follow the installation wizard prompts
  3. Choose your installation directory (default is recommended)
  4. Click "Install" to complete the installation

First Launch​

After installation, you can launch Panther from:

  • The Start Menu
  • The desktop shortcut (if you chose to create one)

Windows Defender SmartScreen​

On first launch, Windows Defender SmartScreen may show a warning. To proceed:

  1. Click "More info"
  2. Click "Run anyway"

This happens because the app isn't signed with an Extended Validation certificate.

Updating​

The app will check for updates automatically. When an update is available, you'll be prompted to download and install it.
