Installing on macOS

Download​

Download the latest .dmg file from the releases page.

Installation​

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file
  2. Drag the Panther app to your Applications folder
  3. Eject the disk image

First Launch​

On first launch, macOS may show a security warning since the app isn't signed with an Apple Developer certificate.

To open the app:

  1. Right-click (or Control-click) on the app in Applications
  2. Select "Open" from the context menu
  3. Click "Open" in the dialog that appears

You only need to do this once. After the first launch, you can open the app normally.

Updating​

To update, simply download the latest version and replace the app in your Applications folder.
