# Event Viewer

> A full trading view for a single market — chart, order book, and order slip together.

The **Event Viewer** is where you go deep on a single event. Chart, order book, market list, order slip, and the fine print — all in one screen, updating live. Open it with <kbd>/</kbd> → `EV`, or by double-clicking any market anywhere in Panther.

## The header

The top strip gives you the event at a glance: the venue, the selected market with its live **Yes/No prices**, and the numbers that matter — **expiry date**, **24-hour change and volume**, **total volume**, and **open interest**. Click the **★** to add the event to your [Watchlist](/panels/watchlist).

## The chart

A full price chart of the selected market:

* **Timeframes** from intraday to the market's full history (5y / 1y / 3m / 5d / 1d ranges, with fine-grained intervals).
* **Indicators** — the full technical-analysis library (moving averages, RSI, and dozens more) via the Indicators button.
* **Compare markets** — overlay other markets from the same event to see outcomes race each other.
* **Your trading, on the chart** — your open positions and resting orders appear as lines, so your entries and exits line up with price action.
* Percent/log/auto scale controls, plus a screenshot button to share the view.

## The order book

The live ladder of bids and asks with quantity and dollar totals at each level, the current **spread**, and the day's traded value. Two controls worth knowing:

* **Lock** keeps the view centered on the spread as prices move.
* **Click any price level** to pre-fill a limit order at that exact price.

Want the book as its own panel (say, next to a chart)? Open it with `OB` — see [Order Book](/panels/order-book).

## The markets list

Every market in the event, with live Yes/No prices. Click one to switch the whole panel — chart, book, and order slip follow. For a World Cup event that's each country; for a Fed event it's each rate outcome.

## The order slip

Buy or sell without leaving the panel — side, Yes/No, market or limit, slippage, amount, review. The full walkthrough is in [Placing an order](/trading/placing-orders).

## The detail tabs

Along the bottom:

| Tab           | What's there                                                                                                                    |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Info** | Volume, end date, status — and the **resolution rules**, the exact conditions that decide the market. Read them before trading. |
| **Portfolio** | Your positions and orders in *this* event only. |
| **Trades** | The live tape of recent trades in the market. |
| **Related** | Other events you might care about. |

<Warning>
  The **Info** tab's resolution rules are the market's contract. Titles summarize; rules decide. A ten-second read here prevents expensive surprises.

## Tips

* Paste a Kalshi or Polymarket URL into Markets search (or the `EV` command on desktop) to jump straight to that event.
* Open two Event Viewers side by side to watch related markets — say, the same question on both venues.
* The panel works signed-out too — browse and research freely; you only need an account to trade.
